I feel very fortunate to have come across and was able to purchase PP0001 and PP0002 both of which were sitting on a Ford dealership car lot in South Carolina especially when these 2 cars arrived at the same dealership 6 months apart. The chances of the same dealership buying the first two Pilot Production cars 6 months apart were very slim.

In many cases it is just a matter of being in the right place and at the right time along with having a knowledge of particular VIN numbers that allowed for me to purchase these two early built cars.

I have been driving the 2 PP cars sparingly and have left LS525 alone as is still only has 12 miles on it and I bought it over 2 years ago. I think I need to look for a driver Boss as I don't want to continue to put miles on the PP cars and was hoping to put LS525 away for my grandson but just might end up selling it?

If you get up this way give me a shout.

3 Competition Orange cars - MP0012, MP0030 and MP0042 with VIN's ending in 5199943, 5199964 and 5199965.
1 Red car - MP0033 - VIN ending in 5199962.

Note: MP0030 - VIN 5199964 is presently equipped with Michelin Pilot Super Sport Tires and not with Pirelli P Zero tires as all other Boss cars have. I looked the car over carefully some time ago and the car did not look abused to the point where a first set of tires were burned off of the car and it only shows 2497 miles on the odometer.

Maybe Pirelli ran out of P Zero tires or Ford Performance wanted to try a set of Michelin tires with a better treadwear rating? In any case I thought it was somewhat strange for a low mileage 2012 Boss car to not have Pirelli P Zero tires on it.

Will do, mine isn't a darth vader though, it is the white Turbo t with a burgundy interior , a bench seat, digital dash, sunroof and chrome trim. Its a sleeper. Until you see the M/T Et streets.
Ive had a slew of cars about 40 to date. 2 GN's 3 mustangs 2 Monte Carlo SS, 4 el camino, 4 Camaros, 23 t bucket, SVT Lightning, 2 dodge ram p/up's, 1 Dodge pace truck, a F250, 2 cutlass , chevelle, not to mention the everyday cars and minivans and suv's..... But the current Buick and Boss will be kept forever.
