Four days of driving? That sounds about right. I got five out of a set of Cup2s on a Boss 302.

Front Wheel Spacers to counter Understeer - How many mm?

Adding track width to the front will increase understeer. Imagine a toy model of a car that is just a center wood stick with two cross sticks representing each axle. If the axle sticks are the same length and you rotate the model against a solid surface, each axle will push the same. If you...

    Air Temp intake

The IAT is sourced from the MAF, as far as I know that is part of OBDII standard. MAF readings are also how the ECU infers pressure altitude.I would think 120 in stop and go wouldn't be unusual if you have an after-market intake that pulls air from inside the engine bay. Most of the open top...

S197 3V Fabman's build; How did we get here?

If the bezel rings can be removed, you can cut out a piece of photography color correction film and stick that in there. Avoid the sharpie lines that way.

    TrackSpec Motorsports hood vent.

Yep, I would contact tracspec and verify that the surface of the hoods have compatible curves. The louvers are not flat, they have a slight curvature to them, which is intended to match the stock hood.

    TrackSpec Motorsports hood vent.

I have the S197 specific vents on a 2012. I'm not sure the S550 version would fit on a stock S197 hood. They have a curvature to them to match the hood contours. Regardless, they seem to be very well built and the holes are big enough to stick your head through.

    Let's Talk Aero

I was thinking of something similar, but cut along the creases and leave the rear portion of the fender arch, then build a "funnel" to go inside the fender to smooth the transition up and out of the wheel well.I need an excuse to buy a welder.

Fair enough.Assuming it actually increased under-hood pressure at all, sure. But I would think the larger splitter surface area (bottom side) of low pressure would more than offset.Only a little, managing air flow is aero, right? It's an interesting thought, what I really want to do is...

    Let's Talk Aero

I seriously doubt their position relative to the front grille matters. The vents up high have more to do with tire rotation pumping air up in the aft portion of the wheel well. At the end of the day, cutting a big ass hole in the fender is fairly easy and there isn't a decent space to mount...

Ahh. Missed that, poor connection. Thought I was missing a good zinger.
