I had Campbell Ford Performance do the clutch/flywheel install on my car last year. Overall, I was happy with them. Pricing seemed fair and it got done. (As with most things/shops, it didn't go flawlessly.) But, I would let them work on my car again, if a need arises.
I put the Exedy Mach 500 in last year with the lightened steel flywheel. I did my best to "baby it". No pulls to redline, no launching off the line. Otherwise, try to get as many "easy" shifts in as possible. Maybe it is not necessary with an organic clutch, but the last thing I would want...
Great! I'm going to put the 7/8" in just to see how it sounds, and if I like it, I'll just keep them in full time. (Until I need to put the 1/2" in for 90 db days of course!)
I am set to run at Laguna Seca on a 103db day and I'm wondering if I should purchase some plates with 3/4" or 1/2" holes or if I can just run without any plates since I don't have any? The exhaust is stock, just with the sides open.
