Had a blast running the new (to me) car with Hooked on Driving yesterday. Fun and well org group to run with.

This is a whole lotta car. Been sitting for 5 or 6 years and Cortex knocked the cobwebs off it for me. It performed like it was supposed to. I was having trouble getting used to the trans (Jerico) and the Renagate "poor mans sequential" shifter (as you can tell, if you watch the video). Definitely not in the right gear in a few places. And I was short shifting mostly by 1000 rpm under target. So I should get quicker in it.

A fantastic day at Sonoma with my friend Dave aka @Flash68 on monday. Tried to keep up with him but he is fast in a fast car. (Dave you still need to put the 3 gorillas on your backseat so we have the same weight! :)
Second full time here. ( not considering the real first time last year where i ran one session and i broke the trans :)

Car: 2018 Gt pp1 10 speed

Brakes : Ferodo DSuno paired with Apr rotors (stock calipers)
Cooling : coolers, ducting and water spray.
Engine: borla atak catback.
Bushing: Front arm bushing.
Car weight : 3789 lbs (half tank no driver)

In August i ran 1.50.
I'm amazed about what the car can do. now that I fixed my overheating issues
I can start to focus on increasing car perfomance. After this seasonI hope Incan get coilovers and real aero.

Pardon the static feedback on the mic, didn't have time to set it up before the first session. Fastest lap starts @ 9:20.

In addition to the static, you might consider checking the mic picking up additional feed.
It almost sounds like you are playing the radio, but I know this can not be.

Nice lap Steve. I see I'm not the only one that hits the wiper stalk while on track.

I finally have a lap time I feel comfortable adding to the thread! 2:24 at COTA running some old 19in 305 Pirelli slicks!

All times updated to here. Will come back for the remainder later.

Track: Laguna Seca Raceway
Time: 1:42.06
Car: 2016 GT350, Track Package
Wheels: 19x11+50, Forged, Vibe Motorsports all around
Tires: Bridgestone Potenza RE-71R, 305/30/19 all around
Suspension: Vorshlag CC plates (-2.7F, -2.1R), FP Lowering Springs

It was cold and slightly damp but the car performed like a champ! It was my second time ever at Laguna Seca not including the thousands of laps I've done in Gran Turismo growing up as a kid. I love this track so much and it was nice to finally get out there and not worry about the damn sound restrictions. I don't think I can do a 92dB day ever again. It's so much more liberating not worrying about sound.

Ran this for only the 2nd time this past Friday... Absolutely awesome track. Caught some traffic at the end... but still the best of the day / cleanest one I found.

Track: Road Atlanta
Time: 1:39:09
Car: 2012 Boss 302
Wheels: 18x10 Forgestar F14 Squared
Tires: Pirelli DH Slicks (10 Heat cycles), 305/680/18 all around
Suspension: CC plates Front -3 Camber. JRi Single Adjustable Coilovers, Watts Link
Brakes - Stock with Ducts and Gloc R16 / R8 Combo
Other Mods: Long Tubes, No Cats - 409 RWHP
