This event is on a closed public highway (HWY 318) in Nevada. It is a 4 day event with 2 high noon shoot outs on Friday. A half mile and a mile. This is a timed target speed event with speeds starting at 95 MPH and go to unlimited. It is a 90 mile timed event. I'm running in the 145MPH class average speed so I will do the 90 miles in less then a 38 Minutes. It has a tech speed of 165MPH and a minimum not going below your target speed more then 30 MPH. Must cross the finish line close to your target speed. There is also a parade through the town of Ely Nevada Friday night and a car show on Saturday morning. About 120 cars will be involved.
