Recaro seat install question

Well after 5 yrs I finally aquired a set of Boss Recaro seats. Supposedly they came out of a 13. I did not buy from the Boss owner so that part is iffy. Regardless, I had no install issues but, my air bag light is still on. I disconnected the battery prior to install. Should I have removed the fuse or do I need to get a scanner and reset the code? If they are from a 12 before the change, can I get an air bag out of the new gen and do a plug and play? Or can I take my connector from my seats and splice it in?

Could it be that the new airbags (in the seat) will have to be synced to the vehicles SRS module.

I'm not positive that this is the fix but I would bet this has to be done. The CAN system on our vehicles talks to everything. I'm thinking the SRS module doesn't see the airbags in the seat.

Thanks. I'm going out to swap back to stock seats just to mess with it now.

Update- I reinstalled the stock seats and the airbag went off. So I am assuming that the seats did come out of an early 12 Boss. Anyone know if i can get newer airbags and do a plug and play swap?

You have to pull the air bag pads out of the bottom of the seats and swap the with the once you want to use.

This had me nervous, I thought you meant you literally deployed the airbag, not the airbag light went off lol.
