Presently the AB does not work on the 2017+ Mustangs.

Welcome to TMO.

I did not remove any of the sensors. I just tapped into the wires coming off the sensors. It's a tight fit under there If you didn't remove the seat I recommend you do. Be patient and make sure you get good connections. You're going to like the AB.

Thanks for the advice ... had taken out the seat. All hooked up and it is working. Now to get some track time in!

Got my auto blip installed. Actually it was pretty simple. My question is what sensor did you use on the clutch ? I did as the directions said and installed on lower. I think it should be on the upper.

Got this e-mail from autoblip today. I checked mine (2017 GT350) and it has a 5 volt reference. It was built in May (maybe June) 2017.

Note the illustration they mention did not copy over here. The A and F pins are the two end pins on the connector.

Hello,

You are receiving the following email because you have inquired about the AUTO-BLiP for the 2017 GT350.

We are finding out more and more 2017 GT350s that work with our current production AUTO-BLiP unit, that is 5v reference on the accelerator pedal.
Unfortunately we do not have a way of knowing based on the manufacturing date of the vehicle which vehicles may have the 12v reference.

There is a somewhat simple test that can be done to find out if your vehicle is compatible. It does require the use of a simple digital voltage meter.
The procedure goes as follow:
1) Disconnected the accelerator pedal connector from the pedal. This is done by gently sliding up the red locking clip on the connector. Then the connector can be remove by pressing on the release clip while at the same time gently sliding upwards the connector.
2) Turn the ignition on, do not start the engine.
3) Set the voltage meter to measure DC voltage. Connect the black lead of the meter to a bare metal surface under the dash (ground).
4) Use a small paper clip or a sewing needle to reach inside the connector pins in order to measure the voltage at the specified locations (see below, pin A and F) using the red lead from the voltage meter.

The measured voltage will be one of the following, 5v or 12v. If you measure 5v, then the standard production AUTO-BLiP will work with your 2017 GT350.
Please let us know if you have any questions.

P.S. We are in the process of manufacturing a limited number of units that will be compatible with vehicles that use the 12v reference voltage to the accelerator pedal for those that may have this configuration.
