Welcome Dave! I'm sure you notice the upgrade you've gotten from your 2011 GT! The GT350 is a blast to drive....I only know from hearsay.I'm sure members from around your area will let you know where you can "let her loose". Hang on!

I'm Dave from Detroit originally, moved to CA 14 years ago. Perfect weather and perfect roads (in many places). I live close enough to my office to walk into work so I normally only only drive on the weekend. I bought a GT350 that I find to be awesome (I sold my 2011 GT 5.0 to buy the Shelby). I did the Track Attack class that Ford puts on in Salt Lake City and had an absolute blast. I'd like to get my car on the track me into some kind of habit of doing track days. So, if there are members in the Bay Area who already do track days I'd love to find out about how to become a weekend track day warrior.
Several of us in your backyard....

Thanks. Great to be on board. Ya, I was sad to let go of my 5.0 coyote but sadness gave way to joy when I brought the Shelby home. I went from a fast car to a crazy fast car haha. I certainly hope to meet some folks who have been to the track. I really love the car and look forward to having a blast with it.

Welcome, Frank! I'm glad to see another V6 owner here. Still planning on getting one myself at some point...

Hello everyone.
MY Name is Jason, just turned 44 and I live just south of Myrtle Beach in South Carolina. I have had a few Mustangs in the past, including my race red, 2013, Boss 302 #445, I did however, sell that unfortunately. I currently own a 2013 silver GT/CS.
I have dropped a few bucks into making it a more of a track focused car that I can
still drive on the street. Current mods include:
- Wilwood Big Aero6 front brake kit
- Top of the line Ford Performance shocks/handeling pack
- Driveshaft shop aluminum driveshaft
- Boss 302 Torsen rear diff
- Borla "off road, catless" exhaust with h-pipe
- Royal Purple everything... and more I am sure as well, just drawing a blank...

I have tracked my car a various tracks across the country. I have been to BlackHawk Farms, Brainard International, Time attack series, Road America for the- the Optima batteries search for the ultimate street car last year and I am heading out to Sebring International end of September for the HOD event. Next year, I plan on hitting both Road Atlanta as well as VIR, I am a BIG fan or trying new tracks out and not hitting the same one or two over and over again like a lot of people. Sometimes, I have to tow the car a good 10 hours oneway, but it always seems worth it! So please let me know if any of you plan a track day at Road ATL or VIR next year maybe we can meet up.

Outside of going fast on cool tracks I enjoy wakeboarding, NHL hockey, going to rock/metal concerts and eating Mexican and sea food.IMG_1934.JPGphoto 1.JPG
I have 3 boys- ages 12 - 19, 2 of those 3 share my love for Mustangs and speed, I'll take it- lol.

If any of you plan on heading out here (Myrtle Beach) for Mustang week next month let me know that as well.

Thanks! and I will enjoy learning from all the experience in this group.
Cheers - Jason

Hello everyone! My name is Tommy and I'm active military stationed in Germany. Will be back stateside in October headed to Killeen, TX. This is my first year becoming addicted to racing in it's entirety and working on my own vehicle (as much as I can) to better educate myself on the car. Five Mustangs over the years and by far the best one. Goal is to complete all the HPDE requirements needed for a license, seat time, time trails and eventually w2w road racing. At the same time read the SCCA rules and regs over and over again to find which class I'd probably start in. I've read so much on the sport and about the car....but nothing beats seat time. Hope I can contribute to the group as much as I've learned from your threads. Be safe out there!
