Greetings to all! New member here. I recently ordered both the caliper studs & sleeves. Just wanted to say I had a great customer service experience! Items shipped out 3 hrs after ordered, tracking # sent @ that time, and arrived in 2 days.....just doesn't get any better!
Awesome products (quality & ingenuity) AND terrific people to deal with.

It's all my wife as this endeavor is her baby.

By the way, she created a newer, simpler site. The dot com is finito and the address is caliperfexion.net as the host in Germany became difficult to communicate with. Instructions can be downloaded directly from the site. Here's to Godaddy!

Any plans to make these for us regular Mustang owners? Especially the six piston Perf. pack cars?

Edit: Having gone and looked at my brakes I see it's a totally different caliper design and the way it mounts does not look like it would allow a stud. Oh well.....

Ford has kept the radial mount knuckle/caliper a GT350 exclusive to date. When/if Ford falls in line and upgrades Patti will have a part for those too. Can't wait for the upcoming GT500/whatever. In talking with a Ford Braking engineer about it was hinted that the current Caliperfexion stud length may have to be slightly elongated. That tells me yet another rotor diameter increase which would necessitate a 20" wheel. Looking forward to this one!

The mobile version looks very clean and simple to use.

It is. Easy to make product changes on the fly too and it integrates Square (merchant services) perfectly.

I love my Caliperfexion studs and extensions. I’ve swapped pads 7 or 8 times now...easy peasy.

The only radial mount Mustang caliper is that of the Brembo 6-piston as used on the GT350. You cannot use a stud on a side mount caliper and as mentioned, you can pull the pads through the top anyway.

Sorry... Late to the party. Just had my GT350 on track for the first time. What is the group consensus on replacement front pads for that Brembo 390?

Tob, could you or your wife give us your thoughts on the shiney vs. the black? Saw a reference to the ss having good metal characteristics up to 600 degrees, didn't see any on manganese. I did see a custom race brake mfgr. who uses these two metal options, but no application recommendations. The black ones' specs make them look stronger and harder, but which are likely to give longest (safest) service in purely track cars?

Have you given any thought to a useful life (number of pad swap cycles) on the different metals, or is stretching/relaxing not an issue like the stock bolts? Again, purely high heat track car.
Much thanks!

Hey Tob, Definitely planning to put some on my GT350! However, like C. Victor above, I'd like to know your pros/cons of stainless vs 4340. I've seen rust on some 4340's but the stainless have less tensile strength. Since you offer 2 materials, there has to be pros/cons of each. Please educate this track and GT350 newbie before I buy. Thanks!

Most stainless steel is 300 series which contains little to no iron but is relatively soft. 4140 and 4340 steel is stronger, especially if heat treated but you will lose corrosion resistance and they will rust.

I've had stainless studs on most of the BBK's I've had and they do corrode, it's just not rust in the usual sense. It's white and powdery instead.

I have the black steel ones and I pull them out when I change pads and wipe them down with WD40. They haven't rusted so far.
