Hi guys, believe it or not i have never changed the stock control arms and now they are starting to look a bit pitted i thought its time to upgrade them.

What do you guys recommend?

Which control arms are you referring to? If the rear LCA's and you drive it on the street consider the Ford Performance 302R LCA's.

Shhh........ just have to whisper it quietly...... Lower Trailing armso_O Their, I said it. No more from me!
Just to stir this pot a little . . . aren't they really "lower trailing links"?

At least as long as the end connections are either spherical or of something that has high compliance in the off-axis rotation directions. After all, this basic stick axle locating arrangement is officially known as a "3-link" rather than a "3-arm".

Happy New Year.

I am waiting to receive my BMR UCA and bracket, the hardest part was accepting that red was not in stock

All my BMR goodies are red with the exception of the LCAs which were not offered in that color. Since the car is blue and white, I decided to go with red, white and blue although the red is all under the Boss. I do of course have red jacking plates made by 06mach1 and my red blowfish tow hooks front and rear.

I started with replacing my OEM LCA arms out with the cheapest BMR dual poly fixed LCAs & noticed it would bind up when under loads and had an odd snap characteristic when stepping out the car a certain amount. They did help launching off line & putting more traction down, but I didn't like the handling characteristics with them. I swapped out for the dual spherical units, it was a huge difference and I'll never go back to poly or rubber LCA. A warning on spherical is that they (4 rod ends total) will wear out quickly especially on street driven cars and will need to be replaced often so keep that in mind
