Hello all, first post. Joined up to share my experience putting this "kit" together. I ordered calipers off of Ebay.

S550 Calipers - 550
Stoptech SS Lines - 80
Hawk Pads - 110
Factory Rotors - 140

The car is a premium GT stock drive train save for te hurst shifter and trans bushing. Suspension - Koni yellows, Ford Racing K Springs, JM castor camber plates, Rear BMR lower control arms, Eibach sway bars, adjustable panhard bar, and adjustable lower control arm mounts. Not as serious as you guys but I get around ok.

I think Im the first to pair this with Track Pack wheels, they dont fit. Running 5mm spacers to give clearance to the calipers, 3mm arive tomorow. Will update.

Sumitomos?

Which Hawk pads?

Off topic, but that's an awful lot of balancing weight.

Good Morning, yes Sumitomo HTRZII, yes I know cheap Chinese tire (I believe). They do really well though for a budget tire. Stood up well in a tirerack review/competotion with other perfromance tires. Worked well on Auto X. Haven't done a real track day on them yet. I have another set of Track Pack wheels that I want to put a more track orientated tire on. Hawk ceramics for street and Auto X and Glocks waiting for when I get to a real track out here. New to NorCal haven't done a track day out her yet. Alot of wheel weights? Sure, I don't know anything about that. If anyone has a recommendation for a good 19" tire that can do double duty on street and work for track days do not be shy. I'm a Marine, I've got THICK skin.

The 3mm spacers arrived today. They fit perfectly. The track pack wheels now clear the calipers with about 1mm worth of clearance and the lug nuts capture over .5" of the wheel studs.

How come? Id like to but that'd mean new wheel studs. It's also a good excise thought to order the boss 302s hub/studs that Vorshlag sells. Mmmmmmm.

Ive been watching this thread for the past couple months and I finally pulled the trigger. I found a used set on cragslist for $300. Cleaned em real good, sprayed them with some vht caliper paint and high heat clear. Now, I put these on with stock 19" gt premium wheels with a 1 inch spacer. I had already ordered forgestar cf10's in a 19x10 +39 deep concave. Once I got the wheels in I was afraid they werent going to fit without a couple mil spacer. But to my surprise they fit with 2 or 3 mm to spare! I love cheap big brake kits.IMG_6848.jpg

Does anyone know if Forgestar F14 18x10s barrel clears this brake setup? I’ve recently installed a supercharger on my car and I seem to be in need of more brake, allegedly.... LOL

I think if they are older f14 then no.... the newer ones have the same barrel es the cf5. Which do fit.

Christ.... I really don’t feel like buying another set of wheels and tires. Maybe I’ll try running an autocross pad on the street.

You can go a long way by just making sure you have brake ducts and a good set of pads..... I used pagid RS29 pads on the street and track with great results. Actually you can outbrake a lot of cars with that combo.... Only noticed a need for more braking then my OEM brembos with race pads, on tracks with more then 130mph straights and longer then 15min flat out.
