Sorry to hear you have to part ways with your Boss.Looks like a great car that someone will be lucky to acquire.Good Health is a thing most of us take for granted until it takes a turn and starts affecting our lives. My wife's clutch foot is starting to bother her when she drives her '14 BMW 6 spd manual (special order). She may have to switch to an auto trans down the road.I'm still enjoying my Boss and am thankful for every day I can! Good luck with the sale...............

I agree. Amazing price for a car in that condition. Good luck with your sale
Thanks for your kind words CH. An interested buyer would be hard pressed to find another that has been as well cared for and maintained. The vehicle has never been tracked, nor abused, and has been garaged. It comes with Ford Performance's Track Key (red) tune, MGW's race spec short throw shifter, additional quad exhaust insert plates to adjust exhaust sound levels, recently installed new Ford battery, original Ford Boss 302 Owner's Kit, and I have detailed the vehicle regularly. Original OEM large LS splitter is also available new in the box. Comprehensive maintenance and purchase history documentation is archived and available. Car looks much like it did when I first took delivery new. It's a great deal for someone looking for a limited production, classic American muscle car.

Very good price. Expected to see some unreasonable $47K offer price before I clicked :)

@Tucson 302 , maybe this is a chance for Kimberly to have "her" Boss back? :)

S O L D ! ! !

It is with a deep sense of sadness I must accept this beauty below has now found a new home. Yes, she's moving on from the Old Dominion to her new home in the State of Massachusetts on July 26. Health and farther time no long permit me to spend the time with her she demands. But I am pleased she has found a great new owner. He is a lurker here on TMO and is also a racer who has a lot of race experience and has owned many performance Fords. I'm sure he will take care of her in a manner which she was accustomed.

Anyway, life goes on. I do want to take a moment to thank this TMO forum and its moderators, sponsors, and any others who operate this forum as it was instrumental in my pursuit to sell my vehicle. I could not have done it without this forum as this forum is available to most anyone with a passion for high-performance vehicles. All I had to do was exhibit patience and address forum reader inquires. Apparently the car sold herself. I did not advertise my vehicle anywhere else but here. With nearly 800 views on this forum, 1 very determined buyer wanted this vehicle for himself. I received 7 inquiries in total about the vehicle but the car was sold to the very first inquirer sight unseen. I am sure this gentleman will enjoy this vehicle as much as I had. I am sure going to miss her.

So in summary, I would highly recommend this forum to anyone who wishes to sell their high-performance Ford. I would recommend you clean your vehicle up, post multiple pics here online, and offer the vehicle at a reasonable price to you and the new owner, but most importantly you need to exhibit a bit of patience. Respond to all your inquirers in a timely manner. I felt this was something important to do. As it turned out most inquirers thanked me for responding to their emails in such a timely manner. So this is something I would also recommend you do.

Here is one last look at production #0128 after I completed detailing her inside and out. It has been a long journey as I was the original owner. She is going to a good home. Thanks for your forum TMO.

@boss302ls on behalf of all the moderators thank you for the kind words of praise. For us it’s quality not quantity. Good luck with your next car and don’t be a stranger.

Going to roam the streets in MA?
Beautiful LS, I hope to see it in person
Thanks FFN. Your going to have to head out to the Outer Cape to see. Good chance you might see it at most any track in New England too. You might even know this guy but out of respect for him I will keep his identity unknown but to myself. Sorry.

boss302ls, Congrats on finding a buyer for your baby. I'm sure it is bitter sweet. Was it the manual that made you sell? I worry about that as I get older, all tho I have no problems now (knock on wood) Any plans on what you're you going to replace your pride and joy with?

My wife asked me to sell the car as she does not know how to drive a manual trans and she would be very uneasy selling a car like the Boss when I pass. She knows its a special car but she would be fearful of selling a car like this for fear she would get less than the car is really worth. I sold the car for that reason as my health is deteriorating. I don't think it would be wise to purchase another vehicle because of this. I have a old beater car which I used for many years as a commuter car. I used that car to commute 100 miles a day in this vehicle when I worked. I retired 4 years ago from Federal Civil Service. My 2007 Toyota Camry gave me good service and has 260,000 miles on it now. I'll just hang on to this for now. Still gets about 33 MPG. Don't ask me what her 0 to 60 time is though. LOL
