What did you do to your GT350 or S550 Mustang today?

Im in a stock Boss 302 LOL! I got way less power and suspension. I do think adding a rear wing would help and a Watts link, coil overs etc, but being that I only get to the track maybe 4 weekends a year...do you dump $10K more into the car for that? I have not done so quite yet! Id like a new model so Im holding out so far. Im happy with what I am getting out of the car as it is. Looking forward to seeing your video-- POST UP!!

It’s all good. Good times with your boss and I hear you on money vs time spent utilizing it. Love the boss too. Had an 11 GT. Then the boss came out the next year and I wanted one. Stuck with the ‘11 but it wasn’t a track car. This is my first mustang track car. Love it. Don’t need to buy more stuff for it really. Just small things like the camber plates and they are monsters on the track. Video hopefully next time out. Camera mount was not co-operating last time out

Get a GT350. Boss is an awesome car but don’t put 10K into it.

Gtorpedo are your canards clear coated? And does your rear wing help?

Jeff - yes they are clear coated. I bought these before AJ offered a non cleared version. Wing seems to be doing some work but I can't really quantify with lap times. Its not going to be anywhere near as efficient as a well engineered race wing with proper height on the uprights, but for just HPDE it works well for me.

GT you don’t like the clear coat on Them? I wish they made the mounting lip go down instead of up. I wish I could afford a GT 4 wing.

No i do prefer the clear. Just wanted to point out that used to be included in the price + they were cheaper. Still a very nice piece for the price.

First oil change at 984.0 miles along with passenger oil separator, then installed the driver oil separator at 1165.0 miles (had to wait for a new hose, 1 was damaged).

Has 1,300 miles on it now and gave it a wash.

Bought square Track wheels and tires for my steed. 19x11 Apex EC-7. ET52’s with Nitto NT01’s 305x30x19. They have 2 HPDE days on them from stock S550

Bought Brey Krause adapter, recaros dual locking no tab slider, Brey Krause brackets and a Momo seat yesterday at Track First in Akron. Going to get it all test fit and then order the Brey Krause harness bar and sabelt harness.

Put the Apex wheels and 305X30X19 NT01’s on. 1” front spacers. Would 3/4” spacers work in front.
