On a lighter note............Rumors are now running rampart about a TMO member offering to make pizzas to help the relief effort in the Hurricane Florence aftermath. I and many others are now racing down to aid in the recovery efforts!!!!!!!!!!!!

Grant, You're really pushing your luck with a '76 oven!..I've been thru 3 since '84 but my Wife bakes cakes on the side so my ovens take a beating....As long as your oven is churning out those pies.......carry on!

My parents bought their house brand new in 1953 and my Mom used her GE stove/oven combo every day til she passed in 2010. New owners replaced that unit with a new modern one. They'll be sorry....................

Haha. They don't make them like they used to...

Similar story when we sold my grandparents house after my grandma passed. They were in the house for over 50 years. New owners ripped everything out of a cool Pasadena Spanish bungalow and modernized it. Had the original tile in the bathroom that still looked new. Newer isn't aways better.

One of the reasons I moved out here was for access to older sheet metal. Not much survives the salt air in the islands.

Grant. if you're referring to our salt treatment on the roads during our snowy winter weather around here . your are totally correct! Cars take a beating around here during bad weather. That's the reason why my Boss never goes out in ANY bad weather.........I love my Boss!
