Thanks @flyhalf! I'm looking forward to a complete year of HPDE's and coaching so I can get into some TT and maybe W2W. What are your plans?

For the moment ..Just have fun once or twice a month with my car. I Do all the works in my garage and learn everyday somenthing new. This forum, like the one on facebook ,is an incredible resource of information and knowledge.
So I'll try to go fast and fast everytime. And then sky is the limit.
Have fun!

Well after talking with James from Full Tilt Boogie Racing, I feel very comfortable with the diff cooler kit and their IRS products for the S550. Well in depth discussion of the IRS parts in their videos, explaining the mechanics of it all. Great customer service and in 20 days, I should be saying great products!

Installed their springs and cradle lock kit. Worked great. Still waiting for the diff cooler to be install.
Keep on the updates!

As I'm doing a little shopping, I'm looking for a oil separator against a breather kit. Seems like the breather kit is for boost applications from what I'm reading, is that a true statement? Seems like for a stock engine the FRPP oil separator will do just fine.

I’d get a breather kit if one fits in your engine compartment. It’s what the factory race cars use.

Having so much time on my hands, I've been trying to watch videos about oil viscosity and its composition. I believe I'm going to step away from Amsoil (send in a sample for testing) and goto Motul. With the 5w-30 engine oil, 75w-140 (gets hot in Texas and diffs are known to over heat) and lastly RBF 660. However, I was reading someones post about the difference it is against SRF. That's whats currently in the car now, however can someone explain why the RBF is the worst of both worlds when it come to dry/wet boiling points?

Honestly i'd run 5w50 here in Texas. I run it both mine and the wifes car just a piece of mind. Plus our dealer hooks us up with it. Good choice on the rear oil and cooler you should be happy with it and keep you on track longer. Ambient heat will be the biggest factor here it's really hot out at Cresson. I say this because even with a tiger hood and boxed radiator with oil cooler enclosed temps still got hot.

You'll need great ventilation from the hood along with those supporting mods you have picked up and not sure if you going to add another more efficient trans cooler but that would be something to look into depending on how hard you going to drive it. Definitely would need it at COTA heat is a mother there and there's no real relief from it.

Looking forward to seeing you on track with us.

2018 pp1 is not good with a 5w50. It is too thick. Especially if the car is not dedicated to the track.

I'm in California and
As Suggested by Billy Johnson
I run 0w40 mobil. Cheaper and effective :)

I'm definitely going to run 5w-50 on track days and 5w-30 for everyday usage. Reading threads, watching tutorial videos on oil viscosity and the reasoning behind running such a weight has opened my eyes of understanding. I'm not as much of a hard driver as others, but seat time will get me there. Being proactive to resolve issues before they arise as much as possible is my second priority to seat time.

I've been looking to do a transmission and oil cooler after the first of the year, so we will see what's out there for the car.

I was hoping to come back to Cresson on the 17th and 18th, but I don't think Ill make it. I believe there is one in December. I need to get some more time at Cresson before I hit COTA...lol

Tommy the car has already a trans cooler. But it is small :)
My mishimoto oil cooler seems to work.
New oil temp gauge will be installed in the next weeks for a real measurement of the temp.
