It has everything that a PP2, plus a bit more, like Recaros. After driving it for the last couple days, I can appreciate the differences in both, good and not-as-good.

Don’t get me wrong. Still love Mustangs! I really wanted to buy one close enough to the way I wanted without having a bunch of added options that I didn’t want. Then have fun doing it up.

The reality is that the dealership experiences ruined my joy of buying another one. Multiple dealers involved.

What separates a 1 SS from a 2 SS ?

A bunch of stuff that doesn’t make the car go faster. More luxury stuff, dual temps for a/c, heated and cooled seats, auto wipers, and Bose.

Congrats, and we do have to thank GM in a small way, because as long as they build machines like this, the Mustang will continue to get performance improvements too. I am a little confused about your comment stating it has more options than a PP2, like Recaros. Recaros are available on a PP2 , and in fact all the ones we have ordered have them.

Agree the 1SS is the way to go , for sure---- don't need all that extra junk that won't make the car any faster?

Actually , I take that back as we did order one without Recaros as a bunch of the guys argued they had some big customers and we should have one with the base seat in case the new owner wanted to put in a wide race seat. Not a bad idea, so we have one like that....sorry.
