You saw the post from Spartan saying he had to swap out the rear control arm to make the lower shock mount work with the JRi set-up? I think I'm remembering that correctly.

Yes. Unfortunately the lower Magneride mount has a 3.5" bolt pitch, while the base S550 is 3". All the coilovers (including FP350S) are designed for the base S550 LCA.

Hey Nick - when you deleted the EVAP canister/system, etc. at the rear of the car, what was required? I assume the computer won't appreciate just ripping it out, right? :)

I ran the fuel tank vent to the inner wheel arch, leaving the pressure switch in place and plugged off the return to the engine. No issues, but I never ran the stock tune, as I switched from Flat Plane to Cross Plane. @spartan may have....

I assume it'll throw codes, and may trigger a CEL. It would be easy to check, just disconnect the harness from the EVAP unit.

Thanks, Nick!

In the middle of a rebuild, so no engine to test with at the moment. But I will be running a tune from AED, so we can adjust if needed.

Car's badass. Enjoying your journey, brother!

Now that looks fantastic, professional , efficient , and about 20 more adjectives I could throw out there! It gives me , and likely a lot of others, an idea on what we should be doing to modify our setups?!

Brake ducting completed:

Hey Nick -

Working on a set for the OEM GT350 brakes myself and have a couple of questions if you don’t mind.

1. Did you end up using 4in pipe coming off the plate? Or did you go with something slightly smaller like 3.5/3.75? Bit concerned about getting the hose over the massively disconfigured pipe

2. Were to able to get all airflow directly into the rotor? Or do you have some hitting the back of the rotor surface? I have about 20% overlap on my first prototype.

@honeybadger

I used 4”pipe and hose.

I made the pipe oval where it is welded to the plate and cut the plate to exactly follow the inner rotor diameter so that the airflow is directed to the inner cooling vanes.

As a result the plate slightly blanks off some of the oval pipe, but I wanted to avoid differential cooling of the inner rotor surface.
