Military Auto Sales parked a brand new Mustang GT (dark grey with the black accent package) out by the gas station to mock me. My wife danced around it for a bit explaining all the reasons we need it.

Making responsible decisions is getting very difficult.

Always remember Rule #1..Wife is NEVER wrong! If you ever forget rule #1......................all tho taking the Boss out gets me thru this somtymes..

Bob, that's usually what does it for me. Soon as I get a track day in I'm good to go. Haven't had one in a while so my eyes start to wander.

Bob is right, for once. ;)

Do it! But pay 'future Chris' first...responsible decisions aren't always easy!

She was right to leave me in charge of the finances...although I can't give too much grief because that just means I have five spreadsheets totaling up different modification paths ranging from "really expensive" to "ludicrisously expensive." None of them make huge amounts of sense, but if any of them did I wouldn't own a Mustang.

The honest truth is that all of the electronic gadgets in the new cars turns me off. They're almost too comfortable. I have a back-up camera and Sync and all that in my F150, and it just strikes me as something to break. I don't want all that garbage in my fun car. I took a look inside the 2019 Mustang and saw that big screen and digital gauges and it just kind of kills it for me. What do you do when the screens die? The best route is to probably keep this car for fun and save up for a purpose-built racecar in the future.

Future Chris is going to be fine.

Now get off my lawn. ;)

Chris. What discount is military sales offering? It was hard to beat when I came home from Oki. Although the Harley I had on order became a Taurus. Apparently child seats don’t fit on a Harley. Who knew?

I don't know. I didn't look too closely and I'm afraid to ask.
