It all depends on how supply and demand runs it's course when the new GT500's come out.The dealer by me, that I paid a $5K ADM for my Boss now has a new '19 GT350 $2k under sticker.....I'm sure the first ones will command a high price..........

Oddly enough, when I bought my Boss in 2012, i just called up a dealer in California and they said if I made a $200 deposit and waited upto six months I could order the car at sticker price... Don't know if thats still true though. The car arrived at the dealer three months later.

We sold out of our allocation immediately and I have commented to friends that year two is likely a better bet as folks looking now are coming to the party a bit late. We had deposits for the GT 500 well over a year ago. Like most sought after muscle the hype settles down in year two and three and often there is more competition. We should have a very decent allocation for GT 350s with our sales in 2019, and folks are finding the 19s and also the 20s are greatly improved .....just ask TMS!?!?

Who, What....me??

What Bill said.

The 350R is amazing. I left the "Tech Stuff" behind and only checked the "R" package, stripes and cover when I ordered. She is an amazing car.

I somehow missed the "Bidding Wars" the first year or two had. I also have rotors which will last on track, no holes. Having a 19 I also missed the bump from $7500 to $13,000 for the "R" package.

Working on the budget for 500 in 2022.

Baloney , we need to just get you qualified for Time Trials because once they let the HPDE 3 and 4 drivers loose at Autobahn to practice awareness on track, you became Mr. Hyde. One does not take 6 seconds off his track time unless one is possessed and it was obvious you get that way if true competition jumps out and grabs you. TMS should be followed by TT2 in your moniker next year , my friend! I know JD Krull would welcome another GT350R for competition in the Central Region next year!

Ref: took literary license concerning Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde to explain this small paragraph, but in reality the reasoning was also doubly literal , as Mr. TMS went off and hid ( hyde ) from many drivers , once given the competitive chance.

The hardest part is patience. its easy to cave and think "Its now or never!" I bought my 13 Boss for sticker in 2012, and bought my 17 GT350 in 2016 for sticker. I lucked out and have a good relationship with my dealer. I keep telling myself if I ever get in the situation again I will wait it out until the hype dies down and wait until year 3 or 4. Unfortunately, Ford plays it close to the vest on how long production will last (and for good reason to keep hype up) Like others have said, Base 350s are below sticker and Rs are at sticker. I wonder how long ADMs will last on the 500 because of the price point. Its a much smaller pond in the market for a 80K mustang vs a 57K mustang. Plus, the guy spending the big money will have higher expectations for quality/ assembly and If the 500 panel gaps are like many 350s....and launch issues like explorer/aviator..ADMs will be short lived.

OK...Maybe I like competition. And yes, I will move toward TT2 next year. As long as I don't have to cut up, add a cage to my car(s).

You do not have to cut up , install a rollbar or roll cage in TT2 ( exception would be some convertibles), but you do have to get a Dyno done . This is so you can find your horsepower to weight ratio for the class, and the only real caveat is it has to be run on a Dynojet system.

He is ready, but are we, haha? After watching him attack his competitors at the Autobahn event I have to believe TMS stands for " Track Maniac Stand!" He was galloping while others were still in a trot!
