I would agree with JBR , some TMO friends have commented to me that a $300-400 price point would really interest them. Plus my fabricator recently suggested that my car might benefit from front dive planes. The car is pretty neutral , but with the new MCS suspension and it's wider range of adjustment he thinks a bit more front aero could be tuned quite easily.

This project is moving forward. After thinking it over and looking at parts online, I'll just end up purchasing a front bumper fascia to use for scanning and further R&D. You're going to love this piece of kit. I've been chatting with Carl (a.k.a. oxford5pointoh) on Instagram and he's given me a lot of information that will go into the design of this Canard. I'll start another thread to capture what data and updates I'll have for you, moving forward. Thanks!

Love to hear it, I follow him on IG and love his car / posts. Should be great to see where this goes!

Quick status update on the canards. The R&D fascia was delivered earlier this week. It's already off for 3D scanning. Once scanned, I can get the 3D file into Solidworks and begin developing the canard design and incorporate the flush carbon fiber reflector delete. There will essentially be four parts to each canard kit. The blank offs and the canards themselves. If I can pull off what I see in my minds eye, these canards will have amazing function, as well as killer aesthetics. The reflector being eliminated as a limiting factor for design is just a game changer. Next update will be a rendering of the CAD design. Stay tuned!

any way to adapt them to a 2012? maybe with a spacer with an alternate 2012 contour on the bottom and mates to your canard bottom for the 2013? that would allow 1 cannard to fit both vehicles. the spacer could just be 3d rendered plastic. perhaps?

I’m hoping for something along the same lines.

There’s already a block off planned for the ‘13 turn signals. I was going to wait to see that before making the same request.

Hey guys! I appreciate the interest. I was working on renderings this week. Still not 100% happy with the results. Once that’s all in CAD, I’ll get it into CFD for validations and data. If all goes well, I’ll have a model in Solidworks to share in a couple weeks.

Can’t wait to get my hands on these 13-14 canards. Really appreciate @EIGHTLUG taking on this project and all of you who chimed in to support and show interest. I think once these hit the track there will be even more demand and excitement surrounding them.
