We have been very busy with a pretty radical 2019 GT350R build ( a build thread will start soon) but I will try to fill in some of the information about my 65.
As mentioned I carpooled to college in the late 70's when my friend owned it. It had been sitting with a fresh 351W (actually built by Tim Rovekamp, our engine machinist at PAE for the last 20 plus years) and rusted rear frame rails, when I purchased it in 1982. After I repaired the rails I started drag racing it. I ran the fastest DOT tire time at the first Fun Ford Weekend (at Indy in the late 80's). More to come.65 drag racing.jpg

It is awesome getting to see more information on this car. Years ago I had started watching old NASA stuff on youtube. I had a 2000 GT that someone steered me towards Maximum Motorsports kits for. Through that guy and reading about MM I learned of NASA.
Watching the videos I always thought "this is cool stuff and that guy in the late model car is killing it."
