2016 GT: Pulling dyno plug affects steering angle--how does it not affect ABS?

So... I did a little bit of experimenting.
My Solo2DL will record steering angle. I noticed this morning that it wasn't noting steering angle as it was a few days ago.
The only difference was I pulled the dyno plug which disables advancetrac and traction control.

When I plugged it back in, the steering angle returned.

So apparently, the advancetrac takes into account the steering angle (which makes sense).

I've heard from another member (I'll let him chime in) that 4 wheel ABS system uses steering angle as a reference too.

Question is: Though it doesn't seem like pulling the plug affects ABS, if in fact the ABS system relies on steering angle, how can it not be affected?

The "dyno plug" is essentially a switch - when you unplug it, it removes power from the ABS module entirely. Hence, the now-dead ABS/AdvanceTrak module doesn't respond to steering angle or anything else.

C126 is the plug on the DS fender by the airbox?
Yes, that's where the location chart in the service manual says it is. The easiest way to tell is to look at the plug and see if pin 1 is looped to pin 4. If it's in the right place and it's wired correctly, then likely it's the right one.

The question I have is myself and other folks have noted that ABS still works. So...how is this?

FWIW I’m still logging each wheels speed sensor with the dyno plug removed on my AIM Solo 2 DL. Interesting observations though, I’ve always kept it removed for autox - for the reasons already stated, TC would come back on mid-run like clockwork for me with TC off and the dyno plug installed on bumpy courses under heavy braking combined with steering input and throttle application - almost like it was overwhelmed. Will have to try putting it back in @ Laguna Seca this weekend and turn off TC the old fashioned way see if it makes a difference. Didn’t notice any dysfunction under heavy braking with it removed at LVMS, Thunderhill and WSIR though..
 
You guys ever figure this out? I'm going through some ABS issues myself on a 2016 GT350. Did a bunch of donuts on the wet grass in my side yard with different TC setting as well as unplugging the connector. And unplugging the connector was the only thing to completely eliminate any nannies from kicking in but the ABS still worked so will probably opt to run it like that. I'm pretty sure the wiring diagram above a few posts doesn't show all the wires going to the ABS module.

The diagram above doesn't show the wires for the four wheel speed sensors, but that's all that's missing. There's a ton of stuff happening on the CAN bus - there are 33 signals from 7 other modules that AdvanceTrak uses to manage the car.
