Ran with Chin Track Days at Summit Point this weekend, which was the second time I've had the car out since getting back from the motor rebuild last summer. Tough to get good clean laps in, but managed a 1:22.9 on 2.5yr old NT01s (unfortunately no video of that run).

Of concern, I did get the P0300 Random/Multiple misfire code when at high RPMs a multiple times, car never went into limp mode. Checked the plugs and coils - all looked fine. I see there is a thread on this issue 21 pages long so have some reading to do, but looks like it could be a few things (wiring harness, crank sensor or just simply redlining the motor).

Video of a few decent laps below

First day on GY 3R tires. Third session and heat cycle: 1:22:00 lap starts at 5:58.

Summit Point, WV - Main: 1:22.00 (AiM Solo 2)
09-03-2020 - Colonial Challenge Cup
2015 Mustang GT
Ford Performance Track Handling Pack
305/30R19 Goodyear F1 Supercar 3R (Square)
Ferodo DSUNO

Still fiddling with the smartycam to minimize wind noise. Removing the yellow foam inside the microphone housing and reducing the internal mic gain to zero seems to have helped. Next up is a dead cat windsock or trying to run the mic line back to the license plate.

mike D4V,
Great lap! I saw your car but didn't get a chance to say hello. My friend ( who is a great driver and was running his C6 Z06 ) commented on being impressed with your car.
I had the Blue flared SN95 with the orange stripes.

They felt like a better version of the NT01. More steering feel and quicker response with similar heat tolerance. I'm happy with them so far and curious to see how they will wear.

Thanks! I saw your AIX car (?) and meant to come by to say hello and poke around the car but we headed out early because of the lightning and rain. I've had an SN95 roller for quite some and often think of trying to build a track car with it.

Track: LAGUNA SECA
lap time : 1.36.3
mods : cortex JRi coilovers. DCT 70-60 pads. E85 tune. Apr250 wing. Homemade splitter
6th heatcycle A7.

This was session 4 and 80F .
NOTE: WIPERS ARE ON WHEN I SPRAY THE COOLERS (I forgot to remove them :) )

PROS
New PB on old 6 HEATCYCLE Hoosiers ( you can notice Understeering in turn 4 6 and 9 in lap1 ..)
I went 5 times Sub 37 in 3 different sessions .
My Session 2 had a predictive of 1.35.5 then I screwed up together with some traffic.

CONS

TURN 5 : I overslowed ( the Oil absorbent DE had a part on it)
TURN 6 :7mph slower than lap1 or previous sessions (normal speed for me was 81-83 mph Vs 75mph)
TURN 10 overslowed
1.35 ABSOLUTELY POSSIBLE AND WITH NEW TIRES...

Inputs welcome as always
Hope you enjoy.
Ale
