Coyote Swap into 05-09 GT

I'm in the middle of my Coyote swap and looking for anyone who has done it. I have the engine, transmission, fuse box and body harness.
There is the option to re-pin a lot of the connectors to the 05 harness and then Power By The hour has their $1000.00 harness that needs to have additional circuits ran. I was planning to go that route but they are out of stock and I would rather just use what I have.

The trick is not losing ABS functionality. A bunch of us are in your shoes right now and that seems to be the stumbling block.
The coyote stuff won't talk to the early ABS. Its starting to look like we may have to run the 3v computer and the Coyote computer to keep everything functional. Not what I wanted but until a better solution comes along that just might end up being the ticket. If you have the computer and harness from a coyote car you will need the ABS from that car to make it all copesetic.
Are you using a gen 1, 2 or 3 motor?
 
I'm using a gen2 (2015 f150). Had the heads CNC's to flow over [email protected], and then the boss 302 cams with all gen 1 timing gear, billet oil pump gears, GT350 oil pump and pan, long tubes and a ported 18 intake.
Currently trying to decide on forged pistons or not.
The ABS is not an issue if you use Power By the Hours harness. It keeps 100% functionality.

Essentially it’s plug and play. You use their harness, and they have a fuse box inside the chassis you run ignition and fuel pump to and voila it works.

The PBH harness is in an 98% integrated. Actually much more simple that I originally thought and keeps all functionality including ABS, Traction Control (WTF wants this anyway) and brake lights. It replaces the 05-09 body harness and has it's on connector for the pedal and OBD2 access port. You run it the same way you run the factory body harness and then connect to the EEC, the trans harness and the MAF.
It comes with a small fuse panel that I mounted next to the factory fuse panel. Then you run 1 wire to the fuel pump inirtia switch at the drivers kick panel, one to battery ground, battery positive and then to the cooling fan all with supplied wires and crimp connectors. The other thing are the two CAN bus in and out leads pulled from the original body harness connector that is no longer used and just sitting there.
If you use a EPASS and a 11-14 trans harness then that adds even more plug and play convenience. I picked up a EPASS rack locally for $175 and with a tubular K member for 11+ it already has the extra mounting bracket and saves #25 or so in weight.
So after spending time routing the harness I found the main entry into the cockpit with the large rubber connector to the left inside of the steering shaft.
In the engine compartment this is directly under the black AC drier/ Accumulator.
Last thing I need to do is connect the start and run leads to the original key switch. So In my opinion for $1000.00 even it's a better deal than the motorsport control pack because of the functionality it allows in the 05-09 Chassis. Yes you will need a coyote EEC and engine harness that puts the price closer to the motorsport, but the motorsport does not allow for integration of all of the cars full functionality if you will.

Keeping the 5 speed because it's lighter and the 6 speed has too many issues. Running gen 1 AC compressor, and EPASS so no weird expensive brackets.

Add on to project but not necessary:

Please double check to see if the FMS crank sprocket is compatible with Gen1 timing components. I am of the impression that it is not as it is advertised as for '15- '17 and this note in the FPS tech document:
"Chain-drive: The Gen 2 phasers , primary chain, and crank-sprocket are a matched set and cannot be interchanged with Gen 1 chain-drive."

I doubt you'll get 500 rwhp with what you've listed above. I would recommend the L&M intake cams. But even with them, several TMO members with ported heads, ported CJ manifold have made 475-480 rwhp but I don't think they've hit 500 yet.

Agreed......pretty tough goal with the planned mods. With L&M cams, Kooks LTH, CAI, CJ manifold, twin TB, Meziere electric water pump, no A/C and 100 octane tune I made 475 rwhp. Porting would have gotten me a bit more but likely not to 500.

Closest to 500 I have seen so far is the Aluminator 5.2 XS. I have seen 2 dyno vids where people made 495 rwhp.
Shaun said Coyotes making much more that N/A typically do it in a narrow power band and aren't very good for road racing.
He encouraged me to keep it mostly stock and use mild cams like the L&M intake only's. Doc if you made 475 rwhp on a stock block I'd say that's a pretty good bang for the buck. Your setup is pretty much exactly what I have so hopefully I'll get similar numbers.

wait....do you have a gen 1 or gen 2 motor?
