Is the damn thing running?! I think my Bullitt stock exhaust is louder:p
I fired it up again last night, its really quite loud, much louder than I am comfortable with.
Lets see what it sounds like when I am able to get it outside. 😟

Didn't go with V-band clamps on the exhaust, since you were welding on it anyway?

A slip connector is way less likely to get hung up on obstacles where a V Band can get hung up and rip your exhaust apart.
A slip/clamp arrangement will typically slide right over it undamaged.
V bands are great connectors, but not not so much in this location.

Piece by piece by piece....we are getting there.
I ordered slotted only but somehow they sent drilled rears anyway....we’ll get those swapped out before they go on.

Now those are some fat pads right there....

Feel free to comment on my pad selection...I'm not a big Pagid guy, but this is what Kohr recommended.

Love them Pagids!! Thats my pad setup now, those RSL29 will last for ever and a day out back.
At least something is going to last.....that's great news.

Really and truly.. FOR EVER....... (for ever, is defined as more the 15 track hours  ). Well worth the money
Are you using the RST 2 fronts?

Just went to check,, and at present I have the RST3 pads. But used the RST2 as well and liked them... the RST3 were just a little cheaper. I can barely tell the difference between them.

If i had to choose between them I would go with the RST3, Bite is about the same but the RST2 is rougher on the discs and does not last quite as long.
How long are you getting out of the front pads? How do you manage bedding without street driving?
When the car still had a plate on it I could bed them on a back road but those days are long gone. Seems like continued accelerating and braking cycles on track would be hazardous to others who are not expecting it. I’ve been through plenty of pads and none of them lasted more that two days except the ST 42 pads that came with my brembos but they were used and bedded by the original user. I’ve asked a lot of racers and got answers from “I don’t bed them at” to “I Just run a couple easy laps then put the hammer down” but I have never had someone say they followed the manufacturers bedding procedure besides me and so far I have not had much luck with it. Currently I have 3500.00 worth of brand new pads, rotors and hats on the line here and I’d like to get off to a good start. Any comments are welcome.

Its hard to bed pads with SCCA. I've gone without. I've wasted most of a Saturday practice to do it by going out last and doing my partial stops on the warm up lap. Then run a cool down lap and come in before the leaders catch me. Then wait a bit in the pits and go out for the last 5 mins. I've also run Sunday early morning hardship practice to bed pads. Thats the least disruptive but it also means you already had good pads for Saturday pract and qual. Some tracks also have extra cost Friday practice.

Having the car street-able does have its perks!!
If I have to change the pads in between races I use the warm up lap to heat the brakes up with left foot braking while accelerating, Trying as best as possible to replicate the the following all in one lap! ... practically impossible but you can try.

Its not the same, but it seems to work. For my part I did not find the Pagids to be that sensitive to bedding, Maybe that's because I only use Pagid pads up front now so the discs are already compatible to the pad material. In general they have been the kindest to the discs. The RSL29 are really really disc friendly and is pretty good for short races as well. But its the most expensive... For the last while, my discs have been dying with too much heat crackling before I need to change pads. Gloc 18 pads were stopping the car as quickly as the Pagids but were lasting 3 to 4 hours, compared to 7 hours. Our typical events are now four 20min sessions with a few practice laps on the side. Some of my track buddies are on EBC pads that last about 45 min.

A couple of things: First, the ST42's are PN ST42R561-20 [ST42 compound, R561 shape and 20 mm depth] and they're still listed in the Raybestos racing pad catalog although they might be special order. Race Technologies (Brembo Racing North America) supplied the ones I used. They're also available as ST43, 45 and 47. Second, the Pagid's may be available in pre-bedded form. It's not bedding in the sense of being matched to the disks, although they say they'll do that for you too, but it is heating cycling them so that they'll work out of the box on disks that have been run with the same pads before.

I emailed Race Technologies and got no reply so, I started looking elsewhere.
Those ST-42 pads lasted and lasted. They are still serviceable now but I want to save those pads/discs as spares so I don't get behind the 8 ball during the racing season. I need parts I can get reliably and Kohr stepped up to the plate with the Pagid so I went with it. They are pricey alright. If I can get the Raybestos I'm plenty good with those as well.
@Albino500 has tried as well as Cortex to get those pads and couldn't seem to find any.
