It was great to meet Steve, Steve, and Chris. I had a great time re-learning the track. Got down to a 1:41.7 this afternoon. Almost screwed up big time coming out of turn 5. When I get home I will try to post a video clip of the spin

I sauntered around in an EcoBeast to a 1:50.34. Spent most of the weekend pointing by and trying to get a buddy of mine on his 2nd track day to trust his brakes. He took 10 seconds off his time from day 1 to day 2. That made my weekend. Unfortunately, the only TMO'er I'm sure I spoke with was Steve since he has the most recognizable car on the planet, and I absolutely love it. I did recruit a few noobs to come over and absorb some of the knowledge this site has to offer.

Great weekend. Met o-man at the very end. Also had fun giving the 21 a jump start. :) I'm sure I met the rest of the crew then but it was kind of rushed.
I'm slow but getting faster- I posted a couple of videos on youtube... search Chip Monroe. Hope everybody made it home safely.
Cool, I gave you a point by at the end! I was in the magnetic gray GT350/R Variant. I felt like I was slowing you down before the brake zones so figured that a point by was necessary for ya. I like to brake before the brake zone just... well just in case. I'm getting more comfortable though that's for sure. I enjoyed driving with ya for sure!

It's all good! I enjoyed the chase. I wish we could have had a couple of more laps so you could have chased me for a little while. :) Lots of fun.

What a great weekend, over way too fast. Want to thank ncpeds and all those who helped me correct what had been an unknown but persistent loose battery ground cable that finally caused a dead battery. This of course was 5 minutes before a session and I was cursing a blue streak. We discharged 3 lithium booster packs and pushed the car about a half mile before the mechanic working with Tom Henning removed the little plastic tab that Ford has on the cable to lift it off. That tab wasn't allowing the clamp to fully tighten on my non stock Anti Gravity battery. Onec off and tightened the car came to life with a jump and i went out and angrily set my best lap of the weekend.Happy place.jpg
