So the shakedown run consisted of moving it around the area near the garages for different photo ops, haha!
😆 I was thinking that too but wasn't sure if Tony would appreciate me saying it.

It was cool seeing the different cars they had in the shop - an LS-swapped RX-7 from the license plate. Thought I saw an E30 M3 in there too.

Lol....

First 2 sessions were just shakedowns....50%....car felt unreal. Then i had the driving coach take it out while i sat in passenger seat. WOW, im not even close to pushing this car enough.

Only issue we ran into was a damper overtemp code that disabled track mode and we had to call ohlins and vorshlag since i have the delete resistors.

according to ohlins: yea, good luck with that, sometime they work, sometimes they dont.

This being a 2019 it has different abs calibrations and who knows magnaride differences betweem 16-18 snd 19+.

overall this things insane and i cant wait to spend the year on driver development.

God i love this car Now.....

we’ve got the “damper overtemp“ isolated to only in track mode, doesnt happen in sport. So currently im running sport mode with advancetrac full off. First time with all nannies off and i feel much better with the car. the nannies were hindering my driving thinking i was over doing something but the track coach said thats not the case. rear end was a little squirly so we added 2degrees more wing, made it much better. im working on braking now, the setup has reduced my braking setup by over. 1/2. Cars going back to urw for some longer tension rods spl is sending for safety.

Tires are wearing evenly at -3.5 up front, may go more.

only have had 5 sessions in the car and i have a lot of driver development this year.

Going back to URW while it rains all week. Antigravity battery, more camber in the rear, and spl sent longer torsion arms because mine are maxed out. I guess, according them, i have the widest front track width theyve done so they feel more comfortable with longer arms. Also figure out my magnaride fault even though its deleted. If you have a 19+. DO NOT go with the ohlins deletes. They do not stand behind their product. Thanks to cortex for letting me try theirs out.

i cannot begin to explain how amazing SPL is and how much they care about their customers being happy. I will also be testing out some new peices for them.

same with URW. The owner has gone above and beyond helping me set the car up and go out on track with me to show the true limits of the car.

I cant get enough of this car, so unreal, im still taking it slow, and we keep having magnaride overtemp damper code which is turning every nanny on for safety. I have an ex coworker from the deslership i used to be a tech at willing to come ride along with the ford scan tool and watch the live pids to see which cancellor is causing the code. Ive tried different cancellors, everything. Vorshlag is of no help and just sell you stuff and say “not our problem, we got your money”. Regardless at 80% im running 1:37’s on south. My gawd goodyear f1 3r’s are DANGEROUS cold. But oh well. So until we figure out the magnaride error causing all the nannies to turn on, the car fights the nannies now. The one run i did get with everything off thr car felt incredible. -3.6 camber up front. And -2.5 in rear i believe. My wing should be ready soon.....tune in

your running some crazy negative camber! Dang! I thought I was being extreme at -2.7 lol

Glad it feels good and planted.

that’s my new favorite tire, I’ve been the fastest so far. Gotta get them warm or they are slippery.
What psi are you running in them?

Yea on a 55°F day at 11am, not a good tire to be out on, baby-ing the throttle it still swung out on turn 2.

im running that much camber with perfect tire wear, and remember because of the spl control arms im 2” wider up front. Im running 30 cold and ~36 hot.

I wonder how much that 1” wider on each side effects the camber?

I was looking at my tires on Wednesday and noticed I could probably go more negative. I was thinking trying -3.0 next.

definitely weather and the type of track have a play on tire pressure.

I run 28psi on the right which gets me to 36psi and 27psi on the left side which gets me 36psi

I would highly recommend spl’s front control arm and tension rod

Well it was a success…..car is bug free…..went out on track with the shelby tech, and the one thing he noticed while driving, my oil pressure was jumping 70-110 and its a known issue with plastic oil pan units. Suggestion, go to a gt500 oil pan and billet OPG. soooo thats the plan over winter. Car feels incredibly planted….

My parents and nephew came out…ufffff the car just keeps doing what i need…..perfectly planted and keeps asking for more. Tire wear is perfect too. My dad checking out the progress.

I ordered shiftek cat deletes which should be here thursday. I decided to stick with the stock headers because from what ive heard and read, the long tubes arent worth the headache and minimal gain.
