Lol!!! they would love to buy some land!! Actually this guy told me he is looking for some land in Florida while we where waiting for our race... I told him maybe he should rethink the idea unless he gets a house with stilts.

Stilts aren't necessary, after I retired from FD, I moved 40 miles inland, no more flood worries, the gulf side is the worst for that since it is basically a flat plane going from the coast out into the gulf for miles, so any tidal change there is reflected on shore more than the (deeper) Atlantic side. Living by the sea sometimes means living in the sea, just one of those things. The 52 years I spent near the shore I had 1 damaged door ($5). After moving inland hurricane Erma spun off a small tornado that went through my yard.. lol. About $15K damage.

Please go into the bathroom, look into the mirror and begin patting yourself on the back. At one tenth of a second behind a GT4 I would have to say you are not a Chile Racer Driver , you are a Race Driver who can really chill during a race. Have to bet the comment from the Porsche boys is " Ausgezeichnet ! " Translated to excellent, remarkable, etc., because they have to be impressed with what you are doing with the Boss. Sorry if I didn't notice , but with the hood louvers are your temps running lower?

Thanks guys! Yes they are the trackspec louvers. We are just coming out of winter so the temps are still ok, race day was about 20 deg C.. To be honest, ment to modify the louvers so that the first one has a more aggresive angle or a little taller. Dont think they are sucking air that well. ment to do the string thingy to see how they are working

That day the Cayman GT4 Clubsport car was totally unstoppable. It was 8 seconds faster then my best time and that of the fastest regular GT4. Amazing, all suspension and super duper Kraut engineering plus new Michelin slicks. Not much HP, but still terribly fast. Well, they cost a freakin fortune, so they better be fast.

A 3/4" wikerbill in front of the vents will help with extraction.
@AJ Hartman has some wind tunnel video where they recently did this on a black and yellow mustang.

At least down here there is! Used for window frames etc.
@AJ Hartman has stick on carbon fiber gurneys made for rear wings...I'm thinking of cutting one down and making it V shaped to follow my hood louver shape.

This would be about US$2.50 for 8.5 ft. Was thinking of putting on the splitter as well the effectively lower it. Thinking of doing exactly what you have in mind for the louvers.

I have a Gurney flap on my 9 lives wing. But I took it off as even with the wing at zero degrees, I get loads of downforce and did not want to give up any more straight line speed. Amazing how good a wing makes the car feel. Now that our track has a long back straight, top speed has become more important.

The DA front Koni swap seems to have been very succesful as well. Car felt preditable and solid. thinking about putting back the #350 rear springs to compensate for the wings down force. Hell, maybe I should put in the #600 fronts as well...

That's what I thought too so I sprung up to support the wing but ended up springing back down due to the extra over steer the stiffer rear springs induced. I've been to every extreme testing and moderate rates in the rear seem to be best, at least for me. Are you still on a PHB or watts link?

Hmm,,, must admit that I like the car the way it is right now. I remember your spring swaps and wing woes.. Still on PHB, am afraid of scathing comments from BS-1. What are your spring rates now? #500/#300?

I have a completely different suspension system so set up numbers aren't necessarily the same, but the principles are. I don't want to thread jack this topic so lets go to PM shall we?
