Then this article is really misleading.
The original RPM Act had support from both parties (at least some on both sides). But that bill died off and never got pushed through before new representatives were elected in Congress. If a bill doesn't get voted on it dies. This renewed bill takes over and will hopefully receive the same bipartisan support the old one had, and hopefully will get pushed through this time. But to get it pushed through we need as many racing fans as possible to contact their state representatives to tell them to support it. Some reps won't, but if we can at least get the ones that will to pay attention, we might be in good shape.

It might have read, the RPM act permanently blocks attempts by the EPA to....dah dah dah
would have been better phrased as
The RPM act if passed, permanently blocks the EPA from being clowns

That's how this works, some clown takes the initiative to screw up anything that's fun, so the permanent stop is to pass a law to prevent it. The government clowns can't leave anything alone, that's what is so dangerous with a complicit administration. If not for SEMA and PRI no one would ever know this kind of backdoor legislation was even happening until you get the knock on the door and a federal marshal takes your car via warrant.
As an example, look at the guy from NZ that is rebuilding his Boss 302, he can't use coil over shocks because the government has to do some kind of song and dance to recertify the car because of adjustable ride heights. I know a few New Zealanders, I'm pretty sure none of them voted for that, government is like a cancer, it must always be held in check.

Oh what the heck, that's what is so important about the US Bill of Rights, in schools right now, it is being touted as a definition that restricts citizens. It does NOT, it was put in place to restrict the government. don't confuse the two.

Well actually we have God given rights. We the people give power to the government to act in the common good and protect those rights. Our amendments (second amendment) help us to deal with a government running a foul.

The RPM Act has officially been reintroduced in the House and Senate. If you haven't written your reps, or even if you have, you can do so (again) on the following page. They have all the text pre-filled so you can just enter your address and send it to the appropriate rep:

Signed it...again. I think this is my 4th time.

Of course living in the Bay Area, CA all the reps in my district are pretty much like F-off.
We have the same reps.

Look at this article from this ignorant donkey. You would think as a "Senior Vehicles Analyst" he would do some kind of due diligence. He has absolutely no clue on what is all involved with performance and tuning. By by headers, off road cross/h pipes, cat deletes, tuning devices... It effects everyone from the supply chain to the end customer.
