O2 sensor replacements

Been getting CEL for O2 down stream sensors after two or three track sessions. Saw where Bosh has a wide band sensors that are said to send more detailed signal to ECU other than "too rich/too lean" Any body used these? Are they better than OEM

Just a thought, I had the same code come up last year but it turned out to be the wires leading to the senors had melted onto the exhaust header. Maybe check all the wire routing first before buying new ones. It's a bit tight down there and the harness clips can come off.

Its only after running on track so seems like if it were harness it would be all the time. From what I have read, track days can kill sensors. Mine are originals, 35k miles but 10+ years old now. So questions still is are wide band better than OEM?

Got new O2's (BOSCH 15383). I put some Kroil on the threads while they were still hot and let it sit for about an hr. Old sensors came out no problem. Taking it to track this Sat so hopefully no more cel O2 codes. I was sure the car was running rich and milage had gone down from 16-17 to about 13-14 mainly freeway 70 mph driving. Plugs only have 5k on them. Car feels more responsive and I noticed the "miles to empty" changed after only about 10 min of driving. It was showing 195 when I left and now showing 225. Never had it increase before!
