First racing school I ever went to ( won a contest at work with the winning prize a ski trip, or a cruise, or a driving school so you can guess what I choose ) and took the family with me to Chandler, Az. Chatted with Bob on the first day and told him my young son was super excited to get to come and watch his dad on a race track because he was my pit crew when I autocrossed. He said it is always fun when the whole family enjoys the automotive scene. He wanted to know where my son was and I said unfortunately he was suffering from a bad cold or the flu and was cooped up in the Hotel Room with his mom. The next day Bob brought me his book on racing and inside the jacket it read , " Ryan, get well and keep racing!" It was a super kind move and it is just a little indication of why so many people loved Bob and felt his school was one of the best in the industry.

Sad day for racers and race fans, but he made a big impact on teaching so many drivers the mechanics of driving fast.

God Speed Bob!

Bob was a really cool guy. He will be missed. Had a really good conversation with him at Laguna Seca in 2015.
