Have my next official race on the 7th of August. Mean time I got invited to run at small track with a new group this weekend. Seems a bit hairy as they do not have much safety requirements, its mainly a Chevy crowd and they want a Ford to pick on.

Invited means I can run for free, but racing a convertible vette w2w......
Give 'em something to talk about. ;)

Will try!! But my friends son drives the green camaro.... He is a pro driver in Argentina now... Possibly one of the most race mad countries in the world. A track in every town kind of place. We only have 4 in all of Chile.

We are pretty much matched in HP, suspension and brakes. So it will be interesting to see if I can keep up with him.

Lol This kid went straight from simulators to fwd cars as he was too big and heavy for karts (about 6' 4" and 220 lbs). Saw him win his first time out when he turned 15, it was his first race in a new car and against 20 other cars, it wasn't even close, won by a mile. Apart from the gaudy graphics, he will be hard to keep up with.

I did see his engine being built and saw that his stock length rocker arms were not up to the wild cam he put in. If I beat him its because he did no make it to the finish line. That said his LS3 has a huge amount of torque.

God bless him.

Maybe its time for some 13.8" GT500 discs?? Thats the first set of rears discs that have cracked. Maybe it was the Rs29 pagid in rear? Usually use just about any old pad.

Had fun, car went well, but it was very cold and foggy. Had my heart set on getting to 52.xx but only made it to 53.04 (still a PB at this track). My Buddies Pro driver son in his Camaro SS was at 52.3 and the ZEEL1 1LEE was at 52.7. Think I can give them a run for the money next time. the 1LE has +300 rwhp on me at so that was closer then I thought it would be.

Since @Fabman had his alternator die on him. My Boss had twin fit and decided to follow suit, it packed it in on the drive home, leaving my on the highway at night stranded by the road. Luckly could switch battery's with a buddies car every 40min or so. At least we got the car got to the shop on its own steam.
