What length/rate/diameter springs did you go with? I need to pickup some new suspension for mine, and I'm trying to see if I have anything in boxes that will work.

Let me try and get you a part number, if I were you, I would just buy the Ford Performance kit, I pieced mine out because I already had some of the parts...

I appreciate it. I have a bunch of springs sitting around. Currently on FEAL Coilovers, but after having multiple failures, and a lack of track time lately...I can't see it being worth proper suspension at this point in time.

Ok, should be these springs, Ford used to sell the complete kits, springs, shocks, bars and links for about $1200, I was trying to find that kit but I'm not sure they are still making them. If you can't get the Ford kits, I would try rickey at cortex for one of his kits. He moonlights in IMSA on one of the gt4 cars.

@Grim FWIW I'm not a fan of coilovers unless you are a very hard core racer. The good ones are north of $5K, the actual race Penskes are over $10K. and if you run them on the street they need rebuilding at least every 20K miles. That's a lot of driving schools, or other mods.

I haven't been impressed by them either, they are coming off :) I found the entire Ford kit. However, I already have whiteline parts on the car, and don't want to replace them at this time.

Any chance you can give me a ride height measurement - Center of wheel to fender?

Ok, so here we go
Tires on both cars are
255x45x18 front
285x40x18 rear
There are center caps so I can't really get to the spindles to check the half height. Also the same springs on both cars.

Also...
I assume the discrepancy is due to new vs 6 year old springs

The weight of the supercharger, intercooler and heat exhanger may account for most of that 1/2"

You run a taller tire in the front? I assume the measurement was floor to fender lip? Thanks for the assist!

Jealous of the GT500, that's the color I want to get one in.

Yeah, but it's front and rear that is shorter, the blower and all of its crap only accounts for about 5% max.. which is significant because it's over the nose, but I don't think that's the reason in this. case

sorry, I saw the pics of the front of the car and the fender measurements and the height difference and just thought that you were doing the front. But looking closer, I now see its the rear fenders.
