Good to hear it was just a slap on the hand, as they likely realized it was a questionable move by the Porsche, and they should have just erred on it as a racing incident. Look forward hearing about the next race and I have a feeling you are still a little hot under the collar and a lot of cars are going to get passed!

Thanks Bill, Hot under the collar would be a understatement!! Positively boiling over with the urge to race. In our category we should have six GT4 on the grid as well as a supercharged M3 and a fast Subaru. Last race, most of the cars set PB's, so I missed out on that.

Well I got the on board video form the GT4. Who is politely asking for a contribution to his repairs. Its interesting how different points of video view can change your perspective!

no, sorry, each person is responsible for their own stuff, I was waving the lollypop on pit road at Mid Ohio one year, looking down the lane for our car, I swiped all the antennas off a Porsche that decided to dive in early using our box to line up.oops, sorry.

Going to pick up the car today. A bit worried as the max camber we could get was -3.3 degrees on the crashed side. Looks like the right hand knuckle was affected by the hit more then we could see. Will have to order new one and maybe better change the hubs as well. This race is on our short circuit so the speeds will not be so bad. But, for the long track don't want to go over 240kph with the car as is.

Are your struts slotted at the bottom?

went and re-read the question:banghead:, the cortex off set struts.
You can slot the upper hole where the spindle bolts on for more camber. Doesn’t take much so go easy. Start with 1/16”. Naturally if you have a bent spindle you should change it, but this is a common method to get more camber when needed. The cortex offset struts have more room than others which is why I asked what you were running.

I usually run -3.5 degrees camber and this time we got only to -3.3. Before the bump with the Porsche, the set I had would get me to -4.7 with the tower slotted. After the race I will take a better look to see what actually got bent. The right sight knuckle is surprisingly expensive for a chunk of metal. they are over 500 bucks. Want to make sure I change the right part!
