- Background & Plans
- I've wanted a Mustang since I was a kid. I was always in love with the fox bodies but my dad bought me a 1985 RX7 because he felt like it was safer.
Fast forward to 2018 and after lots of life happening I was ready to buy a Mustang GT. The perfect model showed up used at the local car place. For almost a year I drove it on the road but after figuring out how bad the stock suspension was I changed it out to the Ford Performance set up. I signed up for a Hyperdrive on the Patriot Course at VIR in May 2019 and was back a month later for the full course on a Chin Track Days event. I was hooked on the track and driving it aggressively on the street just didn't seem as fun anymore. Covid interfered with many of my 2020 track plans (I spent the time and money instead on mods) but I was able to do another Chin weekend at Road Atlanta. I have great track and mod plans for 2021... assuming no interruptions. :)
