- Background & Plans
- I bought this car in late 2019 knowing it needed a full restoration. It was always planned to be capable of many things; daily driving in good weather, reasonably competitive in AutoX, competitive on track, road trip capable, and all around a cool car for me and others to enjoy. The 1969 fastbacks were my favorite mustang growing up, so I decided to take a chance and run with it before life got too hectic. I plan to do everything myself, in my attached 2 car (now 3 car) garage, with basic tools. So far, it's been an amazing learning experience and a ton of fun!
