Background & Plans
I found this car 600 miles (and some) from my home in Spring, Texas. I flew to OKC to check it out in person and needless to say, fell in total awe, and drove it home. My ultimate plan was to find one in excellent condition (I've worked for several dealers in the past and know how cars are sometimes treated) and protect the paint immediately to keep it looking its best for as long as possible. Before taking off for home, I taped up a good portion of the front end along with the side mirrors with blue painters tape. It took almost a month to get it in for a full frontal PPF (and door cups), but it was worth the effort. In addition, I had Kenzo applied on the entire car and with the exception of the wheels, the car always looks sharp. The brake dust from the factory pads is a lot, but no complaints when it comes to stopping power. I consider tracking it often and will attend Track Attack this November for my first on-track experience. I guess we'll see what happens from there.
