- Background & Plans
- Building myself what I'd like to call a Boss 302 out of a California Special. Just paid it off after one year of ownership, so I'm hoping to accumulate some more goodies from a Boss 302 (Ford's most capable NA S197 track car) or Laguna Seca (because California is my old home, and Laguna Seca is an amazing track!) What I hope to accomplish is building myself a fun daily driver and a reliable, yet capable weekend track toy. So far I've been to Waterford Hills and Gingerman out here in Michigan and I can definitely say out of the box, these cars are one helluva good time! With a couple of key modifications such as good tires, brakes and the boss 302 OEM parts I'm looking to try to be competitive in FS class autocross at the regional level (I've got track pack springs I'd put on the shocks if someone here were to tattle on me,) but more importantly just have fun. I'm looking to add more tracks to the list in the surrounding area as well as meeting some awesome people. Hope to see y'all out there!
