I bought this Mustang in December of 2020 brand new off the lot from a dealership in northern New Hampshire. Living in Massachusetts I skated by with this as my daily through the winter. All of '21 I was still daily driving the Mustang for work (regional sales 100-150+ miles / day) and loving every mile. I started with very basic mods; MBRP Street exhaust, tint, wheels & tires, and only really focused on modifying when I got an actual daily for work ('22 Honda Accord Hybrid).
Naturally, not having a knowledge background in performance cars or actual track usage, the mods I bought had no cohesive harmony and I bought many useless / visual only mods. But thanks to many very smart people, and helpful websites like TMO, I finally started making sense of the mods putting together a (mostly) functional build for HPDE / Open Track events while still maintaining street driving manners.
My OCD made this mod list a breeze as I have an excel sheet made for every mod I've bought, installed, removed, and so on.
Thankfully I've been able to do all of the current mods myself on jack stands in my driveway, before this car I didn't have much mechanical experience besides working at a quick lube department so each install has been a great learning experience that lets me get more comfortable working on my car and being confident enough to install bigger, better parts. (Cooling system you're next!)
I currently have no engine mods besides Ford Power Pack 2. I'm very happy learning the limits of the car and my capabilities with stock power. I've always loved twin turbo cars, and if I go forced induction in the future that will be the route I go but I have no plans for it at the moment.
I'm greatly looking forward to more track experience, working on driver mod, and sharing the experience with like minded people.
