Background & Plans: I bought this car my sophomore year of college from my dad with a 302 dirt track motor. I managed to blow that up and swapped a pretty fun little 351w into it. I haven't been able to track it before this year, but I have been to all the AutoX events for 2020 and attended the Mid-America Ford and Shelby Meet at Hallett in June.

Made some big changes to the car over the course of 2020. Switched from Steeda 650/250 stock location springs to Maximum Motorsports coilovers and dramatically changed the rest of the suspension parts. I want to get some seat time with this setup for now, but eventually want to go with a MM K Member and control arms.

Will be installing a roll cage (10 point, most likely). Corbeau LG-1 seats (I'm a big dude), 5 point harnesses, Ford Racing Alcantara steering wheel with quick release.

Hood vents to help cooling. Fender Flares in the rear. I REALLY want the G Stream SN95 Widebody Kit for the front, but I have a feeling that's gonna be further down the road.

My goal is to, essentially, build an American Iron car. I don't really have the money to race right now, but down the line I think I'd like to. In the meantime, I just want a nice, fast track day and AutoCross car. I've also invested in my old truck to haul the Mustang around and bought a trailer this year, one with a nice big box on the front to carry spare parts and tools to track days. Nothing is more annoying than going to a track day and having a small part fail, ruining the rest of the trip. I had a $150 fuel pump fail at Hallett on Day 1 this year after both my cousin and I paid $350 each for two days at the track. Won't happen again...

I'm hoping to make it to the annual Ford meets, Hallett and Hastings, and COTA once next year, but that depends on finances.
