Open class TT cars are much lighter and more powerful as you can get away with murder if you're only going at it for a couple laps, not to mention the crazy aero.

here is a overview I did on them a while back . The only thing would change it the width. They are 18" wide, and I would go with 24" wide. These fit all my cars (but not my lifted 4x4 due to garage ceiling height.) (see full post)

All good in the foothills here in the inland empire, Just lots and lots of rain. As far as winds... we are use to it because we live at the mouth of a canyon and the winds are always a way of life from the late fall thru early spring. (see full post)
