Ran 2 days at Road Atlanta Chin Blue Group on new stock pads and still have enough for a day at Sebring. A grippier pad will go on next, but stock will do the jobPeter
I am using 20mm slip on spacers and ARP studs with the Apex wheels and have no clearance issues with 305 NT01 square setup.I know most are running 25mm spacers so I am just putting out another data point.Peter
As you should be with that time. The issue with Bishops flat out is being able to get straight and slowed down for 15A, it is a balancing act for sure.Peter
Nice time. Looking forward to your video. Usually the most time to be made is the entry to 17 and the apex speed in turn 1. Bishops is how big your man bearings are ;)Peter
It is normal at Daytona to have this happen. I found it happening coming into the Bus Stop. I needs to turn every thing off by going to track mode and then holding TC button down for 5+ sec until everything turns off. I also had fuel starvation issues on the banking when I got down to 1/2 tank...
Road Atlanta with Chin the only clean lap all weekend in Blue Group. Not sure why I lost speed data going into 10a but I was hitting 150 before braking.1:40.06

Well weather was awesome and got to meet Swiss Boss and his crew.Swiss finally put on the Purple Crack Sunday and I followed him into 12 where he was carrying at least 10 more mph than my NT01's. With his well set up Boss and driving skills I didn't have anything for him in the speed Dept. ;)...
COTA is like Daytona, everybody should do it one time.
Just do it. The 1st year a lot of FL boys got together and rented a transporter. Then a couple of years later some CA friends did the same thing.I missed last year as work intervened, I hate it when that happens.Peter
Best bet is Hankook RS4. Not quite as grippy as the RE71R but handles heat better and wears much longer. No need to shave either. The other option is Yokohama AD08R as the also wear well and good to the last drop but they are pricey compared to the other options.PS4S and Conti Contact Sport...

Hankook R-S4 305/19 square on stock rimsI wanted a sub 1:30 but by the time I got a clean lap the front tires were pretty toasty. PBIR with its big sweepers eats front tires for lunch.Peter
One of my favorites events of the year. Great cool weather and lots of fast drovers. Need some more Rustangs to show up or I will be really lonely ;)http://chintrackdays.com/subevent.aspx?q=lJ2LoplJKQo%3dPeter
As you are experienced I would go to at least Motul RBF 660 brake fluid and a full race track pad, it isn't fun trying to whoa down from upwards of 140mph with fading brakes or boiled fluid. As for tires I am running the Hankook RS4-S which isn't quite as fast as the RE71-R or Rival S but lasts...
