It was good to see you @ CVR Chris, and I appreciate your help over the VERY busy weekend. For those interested, it was a very large turnout. 114 cars in the racing classes - 38 in Group A alone (SM and MSC) in which I was RD. Unsure how many for HPDE.And.....our great-nephew took his first...
I've used the piece-it-together approach in the past to get an upgrade paid for, especially when I don't want to use a credit card. It allows me to buy parts over a period of time, which takes the sting out of an all-in purchase. In some cases, I paid a bit more for ALL the parts to get an...
While doing some internet shopping (always dangerous...it's how I ended up buying my Boss), I came across the complete S550 PP1 kit, advertised as designed for S197s, available from Late Model Restoration. It includes the calipers, rotors, pads, braided SS lines w/mounting brackets, dust...

Does anyone know what the piston sizes are for the S650 Brembo 6-pot fronts? I've heard some rumblings they are not the same as the S550 6-pot front calipers, and may be better suited for the stock S197 MC.
@jarredc900 - where did you find a NIB FP 3160? I see it's still shown in the 2020 FP catalogue (Part # M-7000-M8S), but so far, I haven't found one in stock.Great looking B302.
2012 Boss in KBM, Apex 19x10 EC-7s with Falken 295/35/19 RT660s. Only suspension change is the use of Ford M-5300-T lowering springs.IMO, the silver really makes the color stand out. The EC-7s are so similar to the 18x10.5" Boss 302S BBS wheels that I've always admired and coveted.No...
As an additional data point, I just installed a set of Apex EC-7 19x10 wheels, with 295/35/19 Falken RT660 tires, square. I've not been out on track with this setup yet, but on the street, there is no rubbing at all. Some mild poke F&R, but, IMO, it's a great look.2012 Boss 302, with T...
A few months ago, I added a set of used Boss 302S rims:Then quickly put them to good use at the 8-9 Oct NASA BW event giving rides on Saturday, as well as being the pace car for a day:
