Sorry the hose runs inside the tank currently, I was saying that if I ran an OEM pump I would do the same instead of have it outside like the OEM pumps do.
So the setup remains the same, this year still no starvation issues, the border is still closed so I have not tried it at the ridge raceway or Seattle. This has worked very well for me. All I tried to achieve was to transfer the fuel from the passenger tank into the fuel hat of the main pump to...
Sounds like some sort of bearing in the trans, possibly input shaft bearing. It seems that it goes away when clutch is depressed and the trans stops spinning with the engine. May need to have the trans looked at. Tascaparts.com is a good site to look at for OEM part numbers.
Open upper and lower grills help temps quite a bit. Most people run the 302S style grills or like a Roush bar style. The lower grill especially has a very small opening compared to the 302S one which is fully open. I didn't see in the post but if you have the S grills ur pretty much covered
I had the same experience with G-Loc pads. Cracked after the first use, didn't go back to them after that. They did work decently well though. I will be curious as to what they reply to you in the email.
How does it sound when it turns over compression wise? I'm thinking If the chain skipped it would sound like it's got no compression. Also check all the cam followers between the camshaft and valves. When you pulled the valve cover was the chain tight? Could be something as simple as a bad...
Another possibility is the front lower control arm rear bushing flex. Those hydro bushings are insanely soft and would create a toe out situation under heavy breaking and the more aggressive the pad and tire the more this will happen. When I removed my bushings I was shocked at just how much I...
I believe the regular steeda arms have a steeda Ball joint but regular OEM bushings. The comp arm has the poly bushings which is what yours look like. The bushings come both in red and black so it's misleading the site shows red but you do have black poly bushings as per your pics. As far as I...
Another option is to disconnect the yaw sensor, you will still retain ABS but not stability, it's relatively easy as it's under the console, one could even rig up a switch to interupt the 5v reference signal to it to be able to do it on the fly. But the top of the console comes off so easy with...
Yeah thanks there is some awesome info in there, I just couldn't believe what a difference it was going back to the stock stuff. Just goes to show that aftermarket isn't always better or what seems to be an upgrade can hurt performance.
Very interesting reads. Thanks for the info. I was looking into the Roush 3rd link but I can't seem to find the 2014 version anywhere and didn't think the earlier version was compatible. I thought they used a bigger bolt for the front fastener of the bracket in the 2011 plus cars. Anyways I have...
