Pad options are fairly limited on SN95 cobras, but I have run ST47s down until there was nothing left. They gave a lot of indication that was too much.I've gone down to 1mm plenty of times, I change fluids before each weekend though so it haven't had any issues with boiling.
For anyone curious, I have an update that seems to work for the most part but I will make it better over the winter. After what I thought was a solid fix, filling random holes in the filler neck area and making a block off plate that was sealed to keep fuel out, I had the issue again in...
Toyo RA1s but that's because we are required to for the racing class.I'm sure there are much better options, I clicked on your profile and it looks like you are running 20" wheels. Is there room to downsize to an 18 with the brakes?
There is a .81 5th gear available for the TR3650.http://www.pro-forceperformance.com/tr3650.htmI would reach out to him, I have talked to him a few times via email on my T45 and intend to buy parts from him for a rebuild over the winter.I'm not sure I would jump at a 3.31 just to avoid...
I like this one.No one has said anything truly scary yet though.Take the 1966 Le Mans winning GT40, electric swap it and go drag racing. That would keep people up at night.
98 Cobra, race car (factory tank), gutted, no cats/emissions, etcLast year, I always had a gas smell in the car that would show up after a few laps. I just went with it, assuming it was a weird vent issue. Over the winter I cut off my mufflers (turn downs right before the tank), and welded...
One of the guys I run with has this combination, it does work, but he seems to lock up quite easily. To the OP: I used to run the powerstrop trackday pads on my race car and really only stopped because I would run through them in a weekend and a half. But we are running more tire than you are...
This is a great thread.I run CMC with an SN.I don't know if you care, but I'll give some real life experience with the triangulated 4 link and a PHB.When I got the car it had aftermarket uppers and lowers, and the rear end was about all I could say was good about the car. After a few races...
I bought a place in Parker back in 09 so I have a ton of equity in my place now.Lol she wants me to keep it worse than I do, but I'm financially reserved when it comes to new endeavors.I'll pick up another one in 3-4 years or buy myself a track only toy with cheaper consumables.
