oh you ain't kiddin. the stock dampeners are barely adequate for the PP1 springs as it is. i'm thinking steeda adjustables for maximum flexibility and that lifetime warranty + they can't say they aren't matched if i go that route.
this is what has me lookin. i dont have mag ride but these cars are so heavy i think it might actually justify that higher spring rate. really wish i could find some more reviews from non magride owners.
the freezer trick didn't help me much. the hole is a fair bit smaller than the bushing so its literally being forced to conform around the bushing.
i think ftbr or griggs sells a bushing that has a shoulder with a clip on one side so it doesn't rely on such a tight fit.
we have a lot of construction around us right now and i could really feel the car wander on the mismatch half done roads.
went for a long drive last night, now she's 100% golden. its ridiculous how confident the car feels now.I think the base cars don't have the wandering problem because they...
If you've thought about swapping those rubber toe link bushings for the ford performance delrin ones... do it.
all i've done is subframe spacers and those bushings to my PP1. its exactly how i wish ford sent the car out now.
very responsive, no more wandering on bad roads, and i got my workout...
paint correction from a little road trip:those ford paint pens are pretty dope. took about 36 hrs total but its hard for me to find where i did it so i'm happy with the result.
this would really be for the guy who wants the benefit of venting that high pressure zone but not wanting to worry about rain having direct access to the top of their motor.
hey so here's something i've been mulling over:if the hood vents over the engine are to allow for that high pressure area to vent at speed would it be possible to have an active vent system that opened up do to this pressure?
i went with the 6spd for the fun of it. the auto is cool but ultimately its boring to me.
i don't commute anymore so when i'm out driving i want to drive.the fact the wife can't drive stick is just a bonus :D
