Boss 302S and Boss 302R FAQ

Has anyone seen this intake in person? I am curious which car number it ended up on...I don't recall it on XX1 or XX2

    Oil Temp Sensor Location

Thank you. So if it creates an idiot light, I will drill a bung for the sensor. Saves me the Christmas tree effect and serves as a CYA if the oil level were to ever drop.

Pick apart my new biz cards

These are just my professional opinions and can be taken or left for what works best for you…I would lose the border and change the colon to ‘on’ so it says ‘Crew on’I have received hundreds of business cards and have never seen one with a border that large. It strikes me as ‘homemade.’...

    Track Related License Plates !

I went with "U Code" to acknowledge the unique VIN code for the Roadrunner engine. I tried for 302SX, but it was denied due to some DOT fool thinking it was an inappropriate reference. I likely will change to a new plate next year since CO now has an all black vanity plates. It will be a...

    Post your tow strap/hook setup

@Boss4Me The rear bumper does not have a foam core support. It is simply plastic bumper cover and bolt-on rear beam. The DOT requires foam up front to meet pedestrian and low speed crash requirements. I scrapped my front foam before final mounting as it was more trouble than it was worth.The...

    Post your tow strap/hook setup

No welding is required for the beam and loops, but you do have to cut the bumper cover. You would also need to cut/modify the foam bumper backing if you want to keep it in the front. The brake duct cooling is standard on the Laguna Seca. The OEM is 3” and I upgraded to the 302S/R 4” ducts. It...

    Watson Roll Bar install Mishap

I will be installing my WR roll bar soon. Any pics you can take of your install progress and finished product would be great. Like you, I have read almost everything on the process but more is never a bad idea.

    eFuel by Porsche

I wanted to bring this thread back to pose a question -When this stuff does come available, regardless of cost per gallon, I wonder if it could be used to pass emissions and then return to Sunoco/VP race fuel? What is the likelihood that states would know to test your fuel and the exhaust?

    The Rear end "Clunk"

I have a similar rear ‘clunk’ sound when setting off after the car has been parked and is exiting an uneven drive. Sometimes it is quite loud.I always thought it was the parking brake sticking slightly, but your sway bar comments make a lot of sense. That said, my car has just 4800 miles so if...

    GTD Mustang

Completely agree, but with the linage of the Mustang name (entry-level sports car); I believe that is where many will struggle with the concept. Your LFA example is perfect. Had it been branded a Toyota it would not have received quite the attention it did as a Lexus.Had they just called it...
