@JAJ great info...all makes sense. So if you wanted to run 18" wheels. Would you do the caliper mod (I have a spare caliper)and run the RB 380mm iron 2pc rotors for $1080+pads or run their Caliper/380mm rotor for $3060? In other words do you gain enough brake performance in the running the...
Just for clarification to those that read this the 380mm carbon ceramic rotors are only for the GT not the GT350. The GT350 CCB option only comes in 394mm(front).BTW I found very similar (same rotor, different hat) front GT350 carbon ceramic rotors for $1400 less than the Racing Brake...
I was checking those out as well. Significantly less than the AP Racing brake (FP350S) option but does eliminate the rear parking brake where AP Racing just came out with a rear brake option that retains the parking brake. However they have a rear OE style 380mm brake rotor that is superior to...

I can say the Ferrari derived Alfa Romeo 2.9L 90* 6cyl twin turbo CPC (#1 on the list) from the F154 Ferrari engine family is one little crazy engine. The Ferrari 458 Speciale engineering team along with Alfa Romeo designed the Giulia Quadrifoglio including aero in Ferrari's wind tunnel...
40-50mph is 3rd gear is something like 4500rpms on a 85* day hitting that oil temp seems to be the expected temp. I have hit that on the street with some spirited driving. Check your oil level just to ensure that is not an issue.
No wheel bearing failure here but both outboard CV joints were making noise. CV joints failing has been more common but first I have heard of a wheel bearing failure. What were the symptoms? Here is the noise on the CV joints (not mine):
