  1. Seattle area experienced Trackey install?

Hello , had mine done at Bill Pierre Ford. Was about two years ago. They have one guy that does the track key. Install went great and have had no issues. Best part is they are just up the street from Dicks drive in , so you can get a burger while you wait. Love the track key with the exhaust...
  2. Any Bosses in or near Seatle

The car scene is strong here, lots to do. Track time is easy, if you are in greater Seattle then Pacific raceways is just a quick trip away. Awesome track. Proformance racing school has more track time there then you can shake a stick at. The PCA and BMW clubs are strong and have lots of events...
  3. Lowering Spring Question

Totally unacceptable , make them fix it or pay to do so and never go back.
  4. Vorshlag Camber Plates for occasional track use?

I like Vorshlag they are worth a little more money imo. Have them and like them. Track set up and leave it as sees limited street use,
  5. Good deal on a boss?

    Welcome to the club.
  6. 91 vs 93 Octane Gray Key vs Track Key

With the track key you will get real benefit with higher octane . Do a search on this http://www.torcousa.com/torco_product/un_acce.html my car saw plus 10 hp at the rear wheels with this and the track key.
  7. Getting rev'ed at

Yes in todays car culture , a rev is a" hello nice car you have there" Kinda like a head nod to someone you don't even know. You are acknowledging them as part of the club or pack a respect thing. I have started doing it with mixed results, but whatever. They will figure it out.
  8. Huge hole in my stock header!

You should try adding Torco. We have just been discussing over on the Sunco 110 thread. Not sure if its available in Chile but there must be some octane booster available down there. http://www.torcousa.com/torco_product/un_acce.html Do not want to burn a hole in the new headers.
  9. Sunoco 110 OK?

I think the Boss will definitely run better with a higher octane fuel. In fact I know it will. Had mine on the dyno, stock engine ,stock cold air and stock exhaust. We were seeing about 388 rwhp and had made several runs using the silver and the red key. We were getting some pinging with the...
  10. clutch upgrade

So you have a vmp supercharger on the Boss ? What kinda power are you getting out of it and what is your set up , tune , exhaust and such ? I like the McLeod products for the clutch they are top notch and made in the USA. I have the RST and matching lightened steel flywheel. Super charger = RXT.
  11. Huge hole in my stock header!

I and others feel your pain. If you want to play you have to pay! It is so true, if you are a wise man do not actually keep a accurate tally of "mods" this addiction makes no economic sense. But it is fun and rewarding and you meet new people and make new friends and have a blast doing it...
  12. Huge hole in my stock header!

Well I guess we should all start checking our stock headers. Good job catching this early. I agree with your plan as you have no support in Chile from Ford. Time for headers and a tune!
  13. Invos made my rear loose??

No experience with Invos. What are you running up front ? If the back is loose I would drop a couple pounds of air out back and maybe add a pound up front and see how it feels.
  14. Michelin Tires

Yes I have the super sports on the Boss. 295 19" back and 265 19" front. I have 5 or 6 track days on them and I would say for a street tire on track you would be hard pressed to do better. They wear like iron. I feel they give up some after 6 or 7 hot laps at least for me. If you have a somewhat...
  15. Cooling upgrades

Gary, Thanks for sharing. You have built a great company and have a awesome reputation. It really is fun having you on board with us. Gary has been working with a super charged V-6 mustang and has the Boss 302R-Hx installed in it. He forwarded me this link below. The driver is very pleased and...
