Agree, Northstar BMW hosts a great event. I haven't been there for several years. Thru the carousel, and past the padock is probably the highest chance to trade paint with something, so give it some respect.
Now sign up for a Nord PCA event and run the long course. I think the Audi club does...
Well, yesterday was my last ride with the Boss. Decided it was time to move on. Too much stuff in the garage, not tracking her as much as I did years ago, and 10 years of crawling on the floor etc for fluid changes and other track prep shows I'm not 20 anymore. My hobbies have always changed...
Hooked up the trailer and loaded the equipment this evening.
The Boss goes on the trailer Thurs morning, then hit the road mid morning.
Can't wait for some awesome track time, and seeing everyone again.
We end up all over. I stay at the Quality Inn - lower cost. Some are at the Comfort Inn, Holiday Inn. and a few other places in town. Most of the hotels are on the highway on the north part of town. But easy to get to the track from them.
Finally registered last nite, and threw the check in the mail this morning.
Can't wait to be back for number X for great track time, food and friends.
Are we really that much older?????
I resemble that comment! I think it was Roundup IV, I came around 13, back end kicks out, I steer into it (too much) and shoot half way across the infield towards the front straight. When I put the roll bar in a few years later, I found alfalfa leaves around the rear seat. At least I avoided...
I have, Steeda Sport springs and Koni Yellows. Works well and a fair amount of people have used this over the years.
MM camber plates are nice, and I have them. But Vorshlag plates are outstanding from what everyone says, although they cost a bit more.
12x1.75 is the timecert set I bought to replace a stripped out caliper thread.
Agree, get that locktite out of there, and don't use it.
Might need to wire brush it off of the bolts too. If you can't get them clean, go to a John Deere dealer and they can look up the bolts by diameter, pitch...
You must use the same measure of a successful weekend as I do -- don't trade paint with anything! After that, everything else is a bonus.
Glad your system works.
Wow, nothing easy about this task. Hard to believe changing a bulb is more work that swapping out a Mustang rear sway bar!
Watched a couple youtube videos, then got to it. Turned the wheels, removed front part of wheel well liner. No way I'm getting to the light socket, so removed the wheel...
+1 on that.
After all the years of great posts, advice, etc, it would be great to see you Drew, and of course your car.
Hope things come together so you can make it.
My bad. M-17757-MB does bolt on. I have the Ford Racing/Multimatic, and they are just the tow hook plate that is welded to the stock bumpers.
The M-17757-MB has that same (or very similar) piece already welded onto the tube bumper.
You'll have to cut a rectangle hole in the plastic bumper...
